If you are here, your Instagram might not be working.
Follow the troubleshooting guide below to resolve any Instagram issues you may be having.
Check to see if Instagram is down
Simply go to Down Detector’s Instagram page, and the site will tell you whether or not Instagram is down.
Instagram should be closed and reopened.
If there are no general issues with Instagram, the issue could be due to a software discrepancy. You could also try logging out and then back in again.
It’s also worth attempting to uninstall the app and reinstall it from the Google Play Store.
Install the most recent version and try again! It may also be beneficial to update your phone.
Bugs and other software issues are frequently fixed in newer Android versions. If you’re trying to use Instagram from a computer, you can also try updating your browser.
To check for Android updates, follow these steps:
#1- Launch the Settings app.
#2- Navigate to System.
#3- Select System update.
#4- Choose Check for updates.
#5- Follow the on-screen instructions to update your phone.
Reboot your phone!
Simply restart the phone and try again. Examine your internet connection. If nothing else is working, the issue is most likely not with Instagram, but with your data.
Similarly, if you’re using Wi-Fi, switch to data. You can try moving closer to the router or restarting it.
Also, if you’re using a VPN, make sure it’s turned off. Enable app permissions. Apps can sometimes fail because we haven’t granted them access to certain phone functions.
Examine the app’s permissions to see if this applies to Instagram on your device.
#1- Launch the Settings app.
#2- Navigate to Apps.
#3- Select See all apps.
#4- Locate and tap on Instagram.
#5- Click Permissions.
#6- Go into each section under Not allowed and grant it access.
Delete the cache
Cache is usually a good thing because it stores frequently used data on your phone
and pulls it locally whenever needed, rather than downloading it each time.
Android cache removal:
#1.Launch the Settings app.
#2.Navigate to Apps.
#3.Look for the Instagram app in the See all apps section.
#4.Select Storage & cache.
#5.Select Clear Cache.
That’s it. Check to see if it’s working, again!
